Clean Cooking Forum

24-26 October, 2017 - New Delhi, India

The Forum will bring together over 500 global leaders and practitioners from business, finance, civil society, the United Nations, government, and academia to share best-practices, explore innovative approaches and financing mechanisms, and help forge new partnerships during three days of informative sessions, networking events, and technology and fuel demonstrations.  The Forum will also offer participants a range of site visits to view the latest Indian business models, cookstove designs, and consumer LPG enterprises.

Thursday 26 : Join the Coalition's informal discussion, "Breathelife - Household air pollution, climate and health impacts"

Among the options for reducing black carbon emissions, residential cookstove and fuel interventions offer the highest net benefits per cost. The Climate and Clean Air Coalition is working with the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves to improve the standards and testing protocols needed to reliably evaluate emissions reductions and co-benefits from interventions to reduce black carbon, particulate matter, and other pollutants. Participants are invited to join the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), World Health Organization and UN Environment in the discussion about the BreatheLife campaign and its objectives to raise awareness about the health and climate benefits from reducing both indoor and outdoor air pollution.
