Options to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants in Costa Rica

This document presents a strategy to incorporate SLCP mitigation into policy processes and strategy development in Costa Rica, including the revision of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and sectoral planning that encompass the main sources of SLCPs. This strategy presents the overview of SLCP emissions in the country, relates existing public policies with the mitigation of these pollutants, and analyzes implementation barriers for the measures that would achieve mitigation.
