The Forum will bring together stakeholders to share practices, build capacity and forge new partnerships through four days of informative sessions, networking, site visits, and clean cooking demonstrations.
The Forum will be organized by the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a United Nations Foundation-hosted public-private partnership to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions. The Alliance's goal calls for 100 million households to adopt clean and efficient stoves and fuels by 2020. The Alliance is working with over 1200 public, private, and non-profit partners to accelerate the production, deployment, and use of clean cookstoves and fuels in the developing world.
This year, Alliance partners submitted more than 300 abstracts to be considered for the 2015 Clean Cooking Forum. The agenda will represent the diversity and growth of activities and partnerships across the sector.
The panel will take place during the Clean Cooking Forum 2015, and is titled "Climate and Health Co-Benefits of Clean Cooking"
