Jordan HFC Inventory

In May 2014, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) awarded Jordan a grant to conduct a national inventory of HFCs with UNIDO’s assistance. The survey was conducted through a national consultant team including data collection, analysis, compilation, validation and verification, assessment and developing the final survey report under the technical guidance of the National Ozone Unit team and the United National Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). This survey aims to indicate the current supply and consumption of HFC and ODS alternatives and provide future projections of growth patterns by substances and sector in line with the multilateral fund secretariat decision 75/77. The scope of work reveals that the survey has to cover all the sectors and subsectors that use ODS alternatives (mainly HFCs).
