Rwanda joined the Coalition to collaborate on short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP) mitigation activities by sharing its experiences as a developing country. Upon joining, Rwanda noted the urgent need to reduce SLCP emissions, namely black carbon, methane, tropospheric ozone and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and expressed a particular interest in the Coalition’s Diesel, Household Energy, and Urban Health initiatives.
