Tools and resources for mitigating methane and black carbon from the municipal solid waste sector

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (Coalition) Municipal Solid Waste Initiative (Waste Initiative) unites national and local governments, international organisations, and other partners to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), such as methane and black carbon, from the municipal solid waste sector. The Waste Initiative provides cities and other stakeholders with access to a wide range of tools and resources to assist them in this effort. 

The Municipal Solid Waste Knowledge Platform is the Waste Initiative’s central repository for these tools and resources. It is regularly updated with new information. The Knowledge Platform’s key features and contents are summarised in this document.
