The 8th issue of the World Bank’s Innovation in Development reports on the invention of a climate-friendly technology that produces bricks without the use of coal. The Fly Ash Brick technology has the potential to completely eliminate carbon emissions from India’s large brick-making industry which burns huge amounts of coal and emits millions of tons of carbon dioxide each year.
