Global Green Growth Institute

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies.

GGGI is committed to supporting its Member States in transitioning their economies towards a green growth economic model that simultaneously achieves poverty reduction, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and economic growth. 

Established in 2012 at the RIO+20 Conference GGGI is a treaty-based international, intergovernmental organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. At this date, 48 Member States and 23 Partner States and regional integration organizations were joining hands with GGGI for green growth transformation.
