This does also include reduction of SLCPs, but since the strategy is technology neutral, it does not contain rigid prescriptions how the targets are to be achieved. However, the strategy mentions potentials/methods for SLCP reduction, such as: methane mitigation, energy and transport mitigation, abatement of methane emissions from waste treatment.
