The Leaded Gasoline Removal Committee (KPBB) network is spearheaded by 3 non-governmental organizations, the Indonesian Center for Environmental Law (ICEL), the Indonesian Consumers Green Institute (Lemkohi) and the Indonesian Environment Forum (Walhi) Jakarta. Among the Committee's aims: 1) to inform the public about the need to eliminate leaded gasoline; 2) act as a container for the business sector (Pertamina); 3) provide technical and non-technical considerations to the government and Pertamina on independent expert advice in setting a realistic leaded gasoline removal schedule.
KPBB is involved in the Coalition's Diesel initiative.
