Transforming the cooking energy sector towards modern and climate-smart energy services

The objective of the event is to demonstrate the role of cooking energy in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to global warming. Jointly we want to explore ways and innovative instruments on how to transform the cooking energy sector in developing countries towards climate-friendly, clean and sustainable energy services.

  • 11:00: Introduction by Chair (Introduction to the event and of the panellists)
  • 11:10: Short input statements by all panellists (2-3 minutes each)
  • 11:30: Round of discussion by the panellists discussing the input statements
  • 11:50: Round of Q&A interacting with the audience
  • 12:05: Concluding remarks by panellists (1-2 minutes)
  • 12:20: Closing and final statement by chair
  • 12:30: Informal gathering for networking with snacks and coffee
