Green freight programs do not currently measure or track black carbon reductions; therefore it can be challenging to quantitatively estimate the potential impact of globalized green freight efforts on black carbon emissions. One of the objectives of the CCAC Global Green Freight Action Plan is to incorporate black carbon reductions into green freight programs and this workshop is one of the key activities under the Diesel Initiative.
