The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo) joined the Coalition to take part in activities to promote HFC alternative technology and standards, support national action planning on short-lived climate pollutants, and finance mitigation projects.

The country has commited to sharing its experience in addressing air pollution and near-term climate change as a developing nation, and to working with the Coalition's partners on efforts to mitigate of short-lived climate pollutants.
