The capacity-building program was developed as part of the "Demonstration project To Adopt Transcritical CO2 Technology in Supermarket Refrigeration Systems" project funded by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition and implemented by the Ministry of the Environment's Ozone Unit, as the national implementing agency, and the UNDP. A group of key stakeholders were trained in Italy on the use of Transcritical CO2 in refrigeration systems for supermarkets.
