About

The City of Accra is an active member in the Coalition's Municipal Solid Waste Initiative city network, Soot-free Bus Fleets project and Urban Health Initiative.

As an actor in the Coalition, Accra is taking strong leadership on integrated action on climate and air pollution: it is the first pilot city of the Coalitoin's Urban Health Initiative, and the first African city to join the global BreatheLife campaign to raise awareness about the health and climate impacts from air pollution.
