The Coalition's Municipal Solid Waste Initiative has provided support to the city of Cali (Colombia) for an organic waste management project that can reduce short-lived climate pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions, and deliver other social and economic co-benefits.

What we're doing

With support from the Climate and Clean Air Coalition and partner organisation, Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), the city of Cali (Colombia) lauched a new waste management model could consist of both a waste treatment plant for Cali and a source separation policy that formalizes informal waste pickers.
