In this webinar, you will learn about the COMET-Farm platform quantification methods of soil carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions at a farm/ranch scale as well as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) entity scale GHG methods.
What are the current applications of such methods in the USA context?
Secondly, the Comet Global system, based on the previous tool developed by Colorado State University, is a decision support tool that will allow GHG emissions assessments from individual farms. During this Webinar, a short demo will allow the participant to get to know this tool.
How can these tools contribute to the CIRCASA upcoming International Research Consortium on agricultural soil carbon sequestration? The answer, next 29th April!
Keith Paustian – Colorado State University
