Summary - Significant attention has been focused on fashioning multilateral agreements to slow CO2 emissions from fossil fuels. These efforts are essential for reducing long-term warming, but more can be done to slow near-term warming significantly by enlisting social entrepreneurs, NGOs, impact investors, and philanthropists in creating bottom-up solutions to climate change mitigation.
