Cambodia joined the Coalition to promote activities that reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) both nationally and internationally. Upon joining, Cambodia expressed its particular interest in reducing its emissions of hydrofluorocarbons, as well as other SCLP emissions from agriculture, municipal solid waste and household energy.
