Webinar: Air Quality, Climate Change and Development in Latin America: Opportunities to reduce short-lived climate pollutants

This Spanish language webinar aims to give the viewer an understanding of the issues surrounding short-lived cliamte pollutants and opportunites to reduce them. It includes an intrroduction by Aid Figari, Technical Expert at the Latin America and Caribbean LEDS Secretariat; a general overview of short-lived climate pollutants and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) by Marisela Ricardez, CCAC Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean; a summary presentation of the findings of the Integrated Assessment of Short-Lived Climate Pollutants in Latin America and the Caribbean by Graciela Raga, Professor at the Center for Atmospheric Science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México), and example of black carbon monitoring in Mexico by Abraham Ortinez, SubDirector of Industrial Economics at the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change, Mexico (Instituto Nacional de Ecología y Cambio Climático de México, INECC).
