About

The municipal energy company Öresundskraft Kraft & Värme AB is applying new cooling technologies that both help phase-down HFCs and improve energy efficiency. The project uses cold seawater and absorption cooling technology to cool downtown Helsingborg. It demonstrates the feasibility and energy efficiency of central district cooling with technology that can be easily transferred to other built environments like airports, resorts, campuses, and cities.
