Our Impact

Since its founding in 2012, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) has united more than 200 partners across governments, international organizations, and civil society to confront one of the most urgent challenges of our time: reducing short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) like methane, black carbon, and hydrofluorocarbons. Convened by the United Nations Environment Programme, the CCAC is dedicated to driving fast, science-based action on SLCPs. Its work has already catalyzed national policy shifts, supported mitigation efforts in over 90 countries, and helped chart a course toward a healthier, more stable climate—demonstrating that bold, coordinated action today can create cleaner air, stronger economies, and a safer future for all.
