CCAC Trust Fund Super pollutant action that pays off now – for climate, health, and economies. Share SHARE Facebook share Twitter LinkedIn Copy URL Email Breadcrumb Home CCAC Trust Fund Cutting super pollutants is the most immediate and cost-effective way to reduce the rate of warming in the near term – while delivering major health, food security, and economic benefits. Yet this opportunity remains underfunded and under-prioritised. The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) Trust Fund exists to close this gap – a United Nations-hosted, multi-donor fund pooling resources to drive rapid, country-led action on methane, air pollution, and other super pollutants. A partnership that worksThe CCAC is the only government-led international partnership focused on reducing super pollutants – one of the fastest and most effective ways to limit near-term warming and reduce severe air pollution. Guided by the CCAC 2030 Strategy, more than 100 governments work together to build political will and deliver emissions reductions, supported by a broader ecosystem of partners – including international organisations, development banks, the scientific community, civil society, philanthropies and the private sector. By aligning the super pollutant community together around country needs, the CCAC ensures action is both coordinated and implementable. Powered by the Trust Fund With support from the Trust Fund, CCAC’s delivery model connects countries with the capacity, technical expertise, and targeted financing needed to drive policy, regulation, and implementation — including through mechanisms such as the Super Pollutant Country Action Accelerator and the CCAC Technology and Economic Assessment Panel. Beyond funding, it builds the political and institutional conditions to unlock larger investment, linking science, policy, and delivery to move countries from commitment to implementation and turn ambition into measurable results.
