Technical assistance services

Our technical assistance services provide quick support to governments to respond to challenges as they arise.

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition can support countries eligible for official development assistance by providing access to technical experts within our partnership and small-scale grants for short-term services, such as guidance on technology options, funding opportunities, and policy development.

Targeted Expert Assistance

Our Targeted Expert Assistance service provides timely short-term assistance to help advance short-lived climate pollutant mitigation planning and implementation.

Assistance services typically last less than 12 months and are small in scale (up to US $50,000). These services are implemented by means of an international expert.

The Targeted Expert Assistance service is available to national, subnational, and municipal governments as well as Regional Economic Integration Organisations that are eligible for official development assistance.

National experts

To build capacity within partner governments, we support the recruitment of local climate and air quality experts to work on national policy and planning efforts.

Global Methane Pledge support

The CCAC works with Global Methane Pledge countries to identify resources to support their methane mitigation commitments.

Our Secretariat is available to meet one-on-one with countries to discuss their priorities and needs and to help develop the most efficient methane mitigation strategies to realize the goals of the Pledge.
