Regional Action Plan for Intergovernmental Cooperation on Air Pollution for Latin America and the Caribbean

This document contains the decision by the 19th Meeting of the Forum of Ministers of Environment for Latin America and the Caribbean to adopt the regional plan of action on Atmospheric Pollution as a voluntary guide for the development of national action plans. The Appendix of the decision contains the Regional Action Plan for Intergovernmental Cooperation on Air Pollution for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Regional Action Plan provides background on the air pollution problem; the objectives of the plan, regional objectives and the specific air pollutants targetted; Strategic Sectoral Actions; Regional Components; and Medium term Goals.
