CCAC 10-Year Anniversary Ministerial meeting

The Climate & Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) will mark its 10-year anniversary with a special Ministerial meeting on 1 April, 2022. The meeting will celebrate the power of the CCAC partnership, highlight its new 2030 Strategy, and solidify its support to the Global Methane Pledge.

The special Ministerial meeting, hosted virtually, will provide a space for Ministers and other leaders to discuss the successes of the CCAC and its role in helping countries achieve critical reductions in methane, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and black carbon by 2030. Announcements on new partners and pledges to the CCAC Trust Fund are expected.

Confirmed speakers include:

• John Kerry, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate

• Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ghana

• Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme
