CCAC Agriculture Initiative meeting

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is organizing a CCAC Agriculture Initiative Meeting on 21-23 October 2019 in Rome, Italy. The meeting is hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.

The CCAC Agricultural Initiative strategy has been agreed and adopted. This meeting will focus on building a work plan that delivers the strategy, with the objectives to:

• Discuss and agree the elements of a work plan for 2020
• Determine options for further supporting countries to raise ambition and share their experiences.
• Determine new opportunities for collaboration and engagement. 
• Identify possible funding opportunities
• Identify materials, tools and events to support implemention of the work plan
• Discuss the Korinivia Joint Work on Agriculture and the NDC Partnership
