Closing Dumpsites in Tyre, Lebanon - Informational Event

The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) hosted an information event on the Closing Dumpsites in Tyre, Lebanon project. Preliminary results of the project were shared and discussed during the event. Selected partners were invited to discuss potential areas of collaboration and cooperation to continue working in the region to move towards integrated sustainable waste management. Project implementer's hope to have follow up on this online event with an in-person capacity-building workshop in the Summer of 2021 if the conditions allow it.
