Country Leadership in Action: Launching the Super Pollutant Country Action Accelerator

This high-level session will showcase how the Super Pollutant Country Action Accelerator will operate in practice, highlighting the leadership and vision of the inaugural country cohort. Ministers will present their national priorities and early steps toward coordinated super pollutant action, while partners will outline the mechanisms for policy support, accountability, and finance that will underpin successful delivery.

The discussion will also explore how the Accelerator aims to scale to 30 countries by 2030, with an aim to raise USD 150 million in grant funding and build a pipeline of investments through development banks and climate finance institutions.
