CSIR-Crops Research Institute to Commission a Multicultural Technology Park (MTP)

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research – Crops Research Institute (CSIR-CRI), in collaboration with the Agroecology and Circular Economy for Ecosystem Services in Sub-Saharan Africa (ACE4ES) Africa Consortium, invites  stakeholders, policymakers, development partners, farmer organizations, researchers, private sector actors, and the media to its Open Day 2025 and the official commissioning of the Multicultural Technology Park (MTP)

Highlights of the Event

• Commissioning of the ACE4ES Multicultural Technology Park (MTP) – a regional hub for low-emission agriculture, agroecology innovations, and circular economy solutions.
• Launch of the Regional Policy Guide on Agroecology and Circular Economy in West Africa, providing a roadmap for sustainable food systems and ecosystem restoration.
• Launch of the MRV Framework for Agriculture-Sector Emissions Reduction, supporting Ghana’s and West Africa’s climate commitments under the NDCs and Article 6 mechanisms.
