Financing Lifecycle Refrigerant Management: Carbon Markets (Part 1)

Lifecycle Refrigerant Management (LRM) plays a crucial role in reducing fluorocarbon emissions and ensuring compliance with the Montreal Protocol’s control measures. However, significant economic barriers hinder the creation of sustainable financing models for LRM globally. Increased public and private investment is needed to support LRM activities and ensure long-term financial viability. The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is launching this webinar series to explore various financing mechanisms that can address these challenges, including regulatory models, carbon markets, and funding from international financial institutions.
