Latin American Public Policy Network for Cleaner Bricks Production workshop

The inaugural meeting of the of the Latin American Brick Kilns Policy Advocacy Network aims to facilitate experience and knowledge sharing on the development and design of public policies related to bricks production. The meeting is organised by the Government of Chile and the Centre for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA), under the auspices of the CCAC’s Bricks Initiative, and it brings together government officials, technical and policy experts and representatives of brick production sector. 

The workshop aims to explore the practical implementation of policies in the bricks production industry, roles and dynamics of the various governmental jurisdictional departments involved in public policy planning and implementation. Participants will share know-how of different technologies applied in the processing and production of bricks, examine regulatory laws and will discuss best practices for tracking, monitoring and public intervention in the bricks sector.
