Moving Forward with the Initiative on Fluorocarbons Life Cycle Management (IFL) - Operationalizing the concept into actions

The side event of the Combined twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (part I) and Thirty-Second Meeting of the Parties will focus on the need to take actions as the whole life cycle management of fluorocarbons, which has not been addressed by the Montreal Protocol and the Kigali Amendment to the Protocol.

The Initiative on Fluorocarbons Life Cycle Management (IFL)'s 2021 work plan consolidated with the IFL Partners will be published and good practices on the countermeasures, such as the recovery, destruction, and recycle of fluorocarbons and the relevant institutional system, in various countries will be showcased.
