Satellite data and air pollution forecast to support policies banning agricultural burning

The CCAC Secretariat is organising a webinar entitled "Satellite data and air pollution forecast to support policies banning agricultural burning". This webinar will discuss the utilization of satellite data and air pollution forecasts to support policies banning the open burning of agricultural residue. It will highlight ongoing or planned activities in the Lower Mekong Subregion at the national and regional scale to build capacity for air quality monitoring and burn ban enforcement. This webinar provides an international benchmark of successful initiatives and country engagement on the topic. Speakers include representatives from the Thailand Pollution Control Department (PCD), Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), SERVIR-ADPC, and GIZ.
