Super Pollutant Strategy Session - House of Lords

As part of London Climate Action Week 2025, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) will co-host a high-level Super Pollutant Strategy Session in the historic House of Lords. This exclusive, invite-only event will bring together global leaders in climate science, policy, and advocacy to spotlight urgent action on super pollutants—particularly methane and nitrous oxide—which are among the most powerful drivers of both climate change and air pollution.

The session will build on the momentum of the successful CCAC/EIA House of Lords reception held in October 2024, and take place in the lead-up to the CCAC Board Meeting (26–27 June) and COP30 in Belém, Brazil. With the UK and Brazil serving as CCAC Co-Chairs, this event offers a unique platform to elevate international collaboration and political will to rapidly reduce super pollutants and unlock economic, health, and climate benefits.
