Virtual Workshops on Air Quality Management and ACAP in SADC

This virtual event provided practitioners in Air Quality Management (AQM) across the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the newly designed one-stop knowledge hub, AQMx, and engage in collaborative discussions to address shared air quality management challenges in the region. Additionally, the workshops introduced the Africa Clean Air Programme (ACAP), a key initiative focused on supporting countries, cities, and initiatives in enhancing air quality management practices in Africa.

The primary goal of this event is to present the AQMx platform to SADC air quality practitioners and foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the region. By the end of the workshops, participants will gain a better understanding of how AQMx can support their air quality management efforts and learn practical strategies for enhancing i.e. monitoring, data sharing, and decision-making.
