Announcing Calls for Proposals for 2022

by CCAC secretariat - 8 June, 2022
The CCAC has launched our first round of Calls for Proposals (CFP) for 2022. Successful projects will advance national policy and planning to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in 23 countries.

Eliminating emissions from short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), which have dangerous, harmful effects for people, ecosystems, and agricultural productivity, is urgent if we are to tackle the climate crisis. Slashing these pollutants is also the fastest, most effective strategy we have to protect the world from the most dangerous impacts of climate change. We must act now.

To help accelerate action on SLCPs, the CCAC is pleased to announce the first of three rounds of Calls for Proposals (CFP) for 2022.

Successful projects launched through this $3 million CFP will advance national policy and planning to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in 23 partner countries. The CCAC is currently accepting proposals for projects that fulfil services requested by those 23 countries and which contribute to the CCAC 2030 Strategy and National Planning, Policy, and Implementation Engagement Strategy.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2022. To learn more about these projects, including timelines, project requirements, and instructions, please visit the Call for Proposals page.

A total of $9 million of CCAC funding is available this year. The next two calls will support SLCP mitigation in the main emitting sectors, both through national government and industry actions.

Please note that only not-for-profit organisations are eligible to apply.
