Announcing Second and Third Round of Calls for Proposals for 2022

by CCAC secretariat - 9 September, 2022
The CCAC has launched our second and third round of Calls for Proposals (CFP) for 2022. Successful projects will advance action to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in 29 countries.

Eliminating emissions from short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), which have dangerous, harmful effects for people, ecosystems, and agricultural productivity, is urgent if we are to tackle the climate crisis. Slashing these pollutants is also the fastest, most effective strategy we have to protect the world from the most dangerous impacts of climate change. We must act now.

To help accelerate action on SLCPs, the CCAC is pleased to announce our second and third rounds of Calls for Proposals (CFP) for 2022.

Successful projects launched through these CFPs, which together provide $10 million in funding, will advance national mitigation actions and transformative actions to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in 29 partner countries and in sectors related to the CCAC Hubs. The CCAC is currently accepting proposals for projects that fulfil services requested by those countries and which contribute to the CCAC 2030 Strategy.

The deadline for applications for the second round is 19 October 2022, and for the third round is 26 October 2022. To learn more about these projects, including timelines, project requirements, and instructions, please visit the Call for Proposals page.
