Here are some photos from the different meetings and events. Lifecycle Refrigerant Management (LRM) Workshop organised by the Ozone Secretariat, 27 October 2024CCAC Secretariat Programme Management Officer and Cooling Hub Coordinator Denise San Valentin co-chaired the Policy Session with government representatives from Australia, European Commission, Ghana, India, Japan, Mexico and the United States on country experiences with LRM. Japan’s Makoto Kato, co-lead of the CCAC Cooling Hub, also spoke in Session 4: Financing life-cycle refrigerant management. Remote video URL Image Speakers at the side event “Strengthening the Implementation of Kigali through Lifecycle Refrigerant Management (LRM) and Alternative Cooling Technologies (ACTs)” organised by Carbon Containment Lab on 29 October 2024. CCAC was represented by Denise San Valentin to speak about Kigali Implementation and its challenges. Image CCAC also presented efforts to promote LRM through the Cooling Hub as well as direct technical support for ODA-eligible CCAC partner countries at the side event “Creating a supportive ecosystem for effective implementation of Lifecycle Refrigerant Management in developing countries” organised by Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) on 30 October 2024.Read the IGSD summary report on MOP36 here. Image The CCAC-supported project in Viet Nam on the design of an electronic tracking system for refrigerants was featured in the side event “Connecting Stakeholders and Creating Ecosystems of Lifecycle Refrigerant Management (LRM)” organized by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ), Initiative on Fluorocarbons Life-cycle Management (IFL) Secretariat and CCAC on 31 October 2024.
