CCAC Statement on the Passing of Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation of Ghana

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation of Ghana.

Minister Muhammed was a strong voice for clean air and climate action. Under his leadership, Ghana emerged as a champion of the Africa Clean Air Programme, demonstrating regional leadership and commitment to solutions that protect health, climate, and development. His dedication and vision will have a lasting impact in Ghana, across Africa, and within the CCAC community.
