FAO Launches Online Courses on Climate Change and the Livestock Sector

by CCAC Secretariat - 2 December, 2023
The CCAC funded courses include strategies to facilitate livestock adaptation (looking at mitigation measures) and tools and approaches to support climate change adaptation in the livestock sector.

With CCAC support, the Food and Agriculture Organisation has developed an online course aiming to provide learners with an understanding of the concept of climate-related risks, key global climate trends and potential impacts on the land-based livestock supply-chain. It includes information on strategies to facilitate livestock adaptation, as well as tools and models to monitor and assess adaptation – in alignment with the United Nations Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development Goals.
