The UK continues to strengthen its climate policies, SLCP action Efforts to reduce short-lived climate pollutant emissions, including commitments made through the CCAC, will significantly contribute to reaching the UK’s climate targets. Accelerating action on transport and energy emissions in Central America CCAC funding will be used to help SICA member countries incorporate transport actions into their updated NDCs and develop a regional action plan for implementing soot-free vehicle technologies and harmonizing diesel fuel and vehicle standards. Uganda Joins CCAC, aiming to improve air pollution monitoring while heightening the ambition of their NDCs With the CCAC's support, Uganda is in the process of completing a national Greenhouse Gas Inventory and a Monitoring, Reporting and Verification system. With the CCAC’s support, they hope to integrate SLCPs into their national development plan.
