ECOWAS CCAC Partner since 2017 Breadcrumb Home Our Partners ECOWAS About Following several years of collaboration with the Coalition, the regional group ECOWAS, Economic Community of West African States, formally joined as a partner following endorsement from its 15 member states in 2017. In addition to its mandate of promoting economic integration in all fields of activity of the constituting countries, ECOWAS fully supports Coalition activities to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) that contribute to improved air quality, economic development and the fight against climate change.
