Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Plan for the Energy Sector

The present Mitigation Plan for the Energy Sector is in total agreement with the National Energy Policy, in the sense of supporting a gradual transition towards an economy -and an energy matrix- significantly lower in carbon by 2050. The use of energy resources Renewable energies, as well as low emission fuels, and the deepening of actions in the field of energy efficiency, are crucial elements in this transition, which is why they have been reflected in the actions proposed in this Plan.
