This special report is part of the “China Air” report series, which presents the key figures detailing China’s progress in clean air and climate change mitigation (especially in the past 10 years). It compares data from countries in East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, as well as some representative countries in Europe and America, to promote mutual learning and identify paths for future improvement. The report team hopes that this series of reports will play a role as a bridge to promote the exchange and application of advanced management experience and best practices among Asian countries and cities, and help countries and cities facing severe challenges find emission reduction and development paths suited to their respective national conditions. The report covers six key indicators, including air quality, air pollutant emissions, greenhouse gas emissions, energy sector, transport sector and key industrial sectors.
