Dakar Declaration on Shared Responsibility to Advance Accessibility to Efficient Cooling Technology with Climate-friendly Refrigerants

Declaration for consideration at the 37th MOP and 7th Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) in Nairobi, Kenya recommending that cooling equipment importing countries adopt or update, as appropriate, minimum energy performance standards (MEPS), mandatory energy-labelling schemes, and conformity-assessment procedures for new and used refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment placed on their market and pursue regional alignment of such measures.
