G7 Ise-Shima Leaders' Declaration

The G7 Leaders' Declaration was released following the G7 Ise-Shima Summit that took place from 26-27 May 2016. Under the thematic area of Climate Change, Energy and Environment the leaders recognise the importance of mitigating emissions short-lived climate pollutants including black carbon, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and methane to help slow near term warming. They also support the adoption of an ambitious Montreal Protocol HFC phase-down amendment in 2016.
