This National Action Plan presents an integrated approach to reducing short-lived climate pollutants in the Philippines, together with a roadmap for methane mitigation. It identifies priority measures across key sectors and outlines the institutional, policy, financing and monitoring arrangements needed to support implementation.

The assessment finds that effective implementation of 13 priority actions could reduce methane emissions by 20% and black carbon emissions by 26% by 2035, while also delivering benefits for air quality, public health and climate action.
