Non-Motorised Transport Project Assessment Tool (NMT-PAT): User Guide

The Non-Motorised Transport Project Assessment Tool (NMT-PAT) is a spreadsheet based tool that evaluates the costs and benefits associated with a walking or cycling project. NMTPAT requires the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software to function and permission for macros must be enabled to utilise all of its functionality. The full list of data required to complete every part of NMT-PAT can be found in Appendix A. Even in cases where no data is available, it is advised that the qualitative assessment part of the tool be completed for each of the relevant indicators. This assessment is based upon local insight and independent of the data requirements of the quantitative assessment.
