Quezon City: Electrification of Municipal Vehicle Fleet

This report summarizes evidence of the air quality, health and economic benefits of switching municipal vehicles to electric vehicles in Quezon City, the Philippines. Three scenarios with varying degrees of municipal vehicle electrification were analyzed. Electrification of all municipal vehicles will yield the largest reduction in air pollution and greenhouse gases emissions each year, resulting in health and economic savings. Results from this analysis can be used to support the city's planning, implementation and communication related to municipal vehicle electrification.
